Student Testimonials

AashrithaBeing a part of kishkinda Kutumba is a wonderful experience, with a lot of mentors guiding you in life and even apart from school we have a whole lot of friends and it's a class for not only learning Bhagavad Gita but also how to improve in life and studies. Here we directly get all the life lessons through Rama and Hanauma's way of teaching. Apart from my own family this is my second family where we all get together and make beautiful memories together.

Advik

It gives me great pleasure to share my experiences. I have been a part of many wings in Kishkinda Kutumba for almost 2 years. It has inculcated a sort of discipline in me. I have improved academically with increased concentration levels and memory power. I have improved in observation skills, coordination, peer interaction and respecting others’ views.

Looking forward to many more challenges.

DeekshitaThe Scholastic Sundays program was very valuable, as it not only motivated students to learn but also assisted them in establishing a consistent schedule. As a mentor, I found teaching the inquisitive students with intriguing questions to be enjoyable and thought-provoking, as it required me to extend my knowledge to respond. It taught me to be patient and to consider things from others' viewpoints in order to better understand where they were struggling and excelling, and to improve their learning experience. I particularly appreciated interacting with other students and observing their interactions with one another. It was an overall fulfilling and rewarding experience for me

DhatriMy journey  with CHIRANTANA has been truly helpful for me. It has completely changed my perspective towards negative situations and thoughts which I face very frequently with my friends and family. My patience, observation power, pronunciation and reading ability has improved a lot. Having such a good support system and implementing Bhagavad Gita in life has truly helped a lot. This website has also helped me see the leadership quality in me. The frankest five mins has remained my favourite part from when it started as it helps you to analyse your situations and helps you control your mind and intrusive thoughts. Of course I couldn't have done all of this if I wouldn't have the willpower to get myself together, and Chiranta was my backbone and brain in this process.

GopthriBeing a part of Kishkinda Kutumba I am very happy to say that I have completed 1 and a half years. Each day I  have been learning one or the other thing in prayanam. I am very proud to say that I have got a teacher like Sri Lakshmi Ma’am and all the other teachers. They have taught me how to Learn shloka as well as they have taught me samskara in GitaJeevanam class.

HamshiniThe Bhagavad Gita encourages us to live life with purity, strength, discipline, honesty, kindness and integrity in order to find our purpose and to live it fully.

Being a Hanuma Doota enhances my concentration power and fills me with positive energy. Attending Gitajeevanam sessions helps me in Controlling my Mind Efficiently.

HarshiniI love Krishna. I think Lord Krishna wants everyone to surrender to Him and become His devotee. Through Bhagavad Gita, I will be able to attain it.

Being a Hanuma Doota, I am in the process of reducing my anger.

Gitajeevanam sessions helped me stop wastage of food.

JahnaviI am proud to be part of Kishkinda Kutumba. I learnt many things from CHIRANTANA. I learnt to keep up my sankalpas. I improved my pronunciation. As Hanuma Dhoota I was able to improve in many things like time management, concentration, etc. I also learnt to instruct my mind in specific situations. I am now able to instruct my mind very well. My anger has also reduced. I would like to continue being a part of Kishkinda Kutumba. Kishkinda Kutumba also comes up with many interesting activities and interactions which I am really enjoying and learning about many things.

Rajasvi“Adhyapana and my Adhyayana got me Chiratana”. I am proud to be a part of Kishkinda Kutumba. I have been attending the classes for the past 2 months. Here we can learn valuable lessons through Rama and Hanuma’s way of teaching. I even enjoy attending Scholastic Sunday. I feel proud to say that now I am a part of Kishkinda Summer Sambhrama and I am thankful to Srilakshmi ma’am and team for giving me this wonderful opportunity.

Sriya_JaideepOver the past year and a half of being a part of the Kishkinda Kutumba, I have seen drastic improvements in myself. From Nitya Parayanam to Scholastic Sunday, every single one of the sessions has brought a change in me. Being a person who can never sit still without slipping into a world of thoughts, Nitya Parayanam forced me to focus on one thing, the shlokas. This increased both my focus and my ability to grasp. The GitaJeevanam sessions helped me see and understand things differently. The Sankalpas taken strengthened my self-control. Another significant learning has been the understanding of being a leader. A leader isn’t all about being in control or dictating. It is about growing while helping others grow. Leadership is an action and not a position. These sessions have undoubtedly improved my self-reflective and introspective abilities. Ultimately, I can proudly say that I am a better person than I was yesterday.

SunayI am proud to be a part of Kishkinda Kutumba. I Am coming to the classes from day 1 when it has started.

I used to be so lazy before joining the class after that when Srilakshmi ma’am started the class I got interested in it and took part given by Srilakshmi ma’am later she started a small course called Frankest Five Minutes and sent the pdf of CODER.  I started to do that and improved myself. I would like to share 1 experience. First, I was eating so much junk when I took the Sankalpa to keep a track of my month. Then I planned to see how much I spend on eating junk every month. Then at the end of the week, I  calculated how much I had spent on eating Junk Food. It was almost Rs. 5,500.  I told my mom that we have to stop junk food otherwise it is dangerous for us.

Then Srilakshmi ma'am started GitaJeevanam which is based on the Samskruti which our ancestors made. She gave us many tasks. When I started to do them I saw many changes in myself. Now I am better than my past life.

Vaishnavi_H

I`m Vaishnavi H and I am studying in the 6th Standard. To start off I`d say without Chirantana I wouldn’t have understood what to do and what not to do. I struggled to study, communicate, read kannada and focus on the portions. I would like to say that without attending Nitya Parayana my day won't end because it's probably due to the frankest five (now few) minutes. Now I end my day by learning something new. I have talked to my superhero Srilakshmi ma`am many many doubts about a lot of things personally and openly.

o Frankest Few Minutes- It has been compulsory that I have something to share and Hanuma and Hanuma Dhootas give back something very informative.

o Gitajeevanam- What can I say?? Umm… the Gitajeevanam is an elongated form of the Frankest Few Minutes. I would be encouraged if we had these classes every Saturday instead of every fortnight.

o Nitya Parayanam- I just LOVE Nitya parayanam As I mentioned before I just can't end a single day without Parayana.

o Scholastic Sundays- Honestly I am a sleepy head and hate to wake up early in the morning especially on Sundays. But now I feel proud that I sit for an hour on Sunday mornings and all my classmates are stunned. I wish these classes were there every day and we do it for different age groups so they can get involved around that class`s syllabus.

o Abhiyana- This feedback is from my mother and she is learning shlokas behind the curtains. She suggested that there are more teachers so that each class would have a different Aura.
